Central Florida Summer Fun – Are you like me and always looking for things to do with the kids over summer break? Well, each year, we put together a list of ideas of how you can enjoy this summer with your kiddos…if we’ve missed anything you love to do, please send it our way!

Free & Cheap: Outdoors

28. Head to an outdoor playground.

29. Fish the side of the bank.

30. Walk around Downtown Disney.

31. Head to a state park and go hiking. With the Every Kid in a Park Pass, kids get into national parks for free!

32. Watch the Disney fireworks from the Contemporary Hotel.

*Bonus: Head to Movieola or an outdoor movie!

Outdoor Opportunities

33. Head to the zoo (Central Florida Zoo or Brevard Zoo).

34. Visit Showcase of Citrus.

35. Rent a boat for the day and enjoy our lakes, rivers, inlets, and more.

36. Go mini-golfing.

37. Head to Lake Eola. Rent a swan boat. Feed the ducks and birds.

38. Take an airboat ride at Wild Florida.

39. Stroll through Leu Gardens and let the kids become nature photographers.

40. Visit Bok Tower Gardens.

41. Check out Lil’ 500 cart racing.

42. Take swim lessons.

Indoor Activities

43. Head to an Indoor Playground.

45. Try inside grand prix racing.

46. Go roller skating.

47. Go bowling. Kids bowl for free at Colonial Lanes in Orlando. Kids bowl for free at Aloma Bowl in Orlando.

48. Go ice skating at RDV Ice Den or Ice Factory.

49. Visit the library for an event or storytime.

50. Go trampoline at, Sky Zone Orlando, Rebounderz, Boing or Airheads Trampoline Park.
