Family Photo Review: Disney’s Boardwalk

Disney's BoardwalkOn a Saturday night, My Central Florida Family traveled out to Downtown Disney for an evening of fun. We had dinner with the kids and wanted to put them on the hot air balloon for a view of the area. The line, however, was a bit long and the area quickly filled with people. Finding it a little overwhelming, we decided to head to Disney’s Boardwalk. We went through the guard gate after letting them know we were heading in for some family entertainment and upon looking at my license, the guard welcomed us in.

Food and Entertainment

Once at the Boardwalk, we wish we had dined there. There were some fabulous restaurants and food options that were much less crowded. The view over the lake was beautiful too! Quickly, we hurried to the bridge facing Epcot and watched the fireworks which the kids loved. We hopped one of their transportation boats back to IMG_8078the Boardwalk area following the fireworks and the kids enjoyed the ride. We watched street performers, which again the kids (and adults thoroughly enjoyed), we played games and enjoyed some ice cream.

There is also a dueling piano and dance hall for a Parent’s Night Out, but otherwise, it’s fun for the whole family! We would definitely do it again and recommend the experience for a free or cheap night out (sans dinner and the games).

Disney’s Boardwalk is located at 2101 Epcot Resorts Blvd., Orlando, FL 32830
