Gatorland Family Video Review

Gatorland Family Video Review

Gatorland Family Video Review – In October 2019, My Central Florida completed a Family Video Review with our friends at Gatorland. We had a great time checking out all of the wildlife at this unique attraction in Central Florida.

Gatorland Family Video Review

Our Experience:

Getting to Gatorland is so easy. Located just off the 417 and Orange Blossom Trail, it was easy to find, easy to park (which was also free), and easy to get into.

Upon entering the park, you are immediately met with alligators. From small to big, these gators are at every turn and they’re so fascinating to see. Gatorland also holds shows in different areas throughout the day, so be sure to get a schedule of events to see all of the amazing things they can do with these amazing animals.

On hot days, there is a water park to keep the kids cool and a playground for the kids to play and get the wiggles out! Don’t forget, Gatorland isn’t just for gators either. The kids can enjoy panthers, turtles, snakes, birds and even a petting farm!

One of their coolest new features is a White Alligator pen where you can see white gators and albino alligators. They are so cool. I could have watched them all day.

For those that are courageous, you can take a zipline over the gator mating pond. For me, it was a strong no, but if you’re full of courage, it looks like an awesome experience.

Be prepared for lots of photo opps, gator feeding stations, fish feeding stations and even a human feeding spot.

In October, Gatorland celebrates Gators, Ghosts and Goblins, a kid-friendly experience that celebrates the Halloween season.

My Central Florida Family can’t wait for another trip to Gatorland in the near future. We hope you get out to enjoy time at the park with your family too!

Out Top 5 Tips for Attending:

  1. In the summer months (March through November), dress cool, bring fans and ways to stay cool. They do a great job with fans, but it does get hot out!
  2. Plan to feed the fish and gators. It’s a great experience.
  3. Whenever possible, hold a snake, a gator or pet a tortoise. It’s all part of the experience!
  4. Don’t miss out on any of the experiences, including the petting zoo. It’s all unique to theme parks and you won’t want to pass up the opportunities.
  5. Look for specials. Gatorland is great about offering Florida Resident Specials, so be on the lookout when planning your trip!
