Location: Harbor Park | 4990 New Broad Street, Orlando
The Mothers’ Milk Bank of Florida is a non-profit organization founded to collect, process and distribute donated human milk by physician prescription to high risk infants across the state of Florida. This year’s fundraising event’s goal is to fund the Babies at Home Program, which provides human milk to babies who have a medical need for donor milk but do not have access to it.
The registration for the Walk/Run is $30 and includes an exclusive Miles for Milk T-shirt and goodie bag. Or you can simply bring the family out and join us for fun kid’s activities and raffle prizes.
Stick around after the race for raffle drawings, awards, thank you’s and kids’ activities!

This year’s event aims to start a financial assistance program for Babies at Home. This is an outpatient milk program that allows us to provide pasteurized donor human milk at a lower cost to babies who have a medical need for this milk but don’t have access to it for any of the following reasons:
The cost of pasteurized donor human milk is covered by hospitals while babies are patients. Once they leave the hospital and still have a medical need for life-saving donor milk the hospital will not provide it. The family can purchase milk from us at $4 an ounce. Right now, this cost is not covered through many health insurance companies and we do not have a financial assistance program in place. This is where Miles for Milk can help.
