St Johns River Festival of the Arts 2022 – Artists return to Historic Downtown Sanford to line the iconic brick streets with fine-arts and fine-crafts for the 11th Annual St. Johns River Festival of the Arts.

What:
Over 150 acclaimed local, regional and national artists will gather in the heart of Sanford for a weekend of art appreciation and education. The event will take place on Saturday, April 30th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 1st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
As guests stroll the streets, they’ll have opportunities to shop artist booths, view live “Art-In-Action” demonstrations, try hand crafted food from different cuisines at the Culinary Arts Food Court and enjoy live acoustic tunes and craft beers as the festival goes on.
“We love bringing artwork from some of the best artists in the country to Historic Downtown Sanford,” said Liz Darwick, event Treasurer. “Sanford has so much history and culture, there’s no better place to hold this event.”

Annual art festival will take place April 30th and May 1, 2022
The total event route encompasses First Street, Myrtle Ave., Palmetto Ave. and 2nd Street in Historic Downtown Sanford, FL 32771.

Cost:
Admission is free and all proceeds support the festival’s Art-For-Kids Scholarship program, which provides free art classes to children in Seminole County.
