St. Cloud

*Camp Illahaw: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. *City of St. CloudAll camps are from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and are for children enrolled in kindergarten through 14 years old. Please register for all day and weekly camps at the St. Cloud Civic Center, 3001-17th Street. Your child will need lunch and a snack for all day and week camps. Please make sure that you clearly label your child’s belongings. Summer camp is eleven weeks this year, running from June 8 through August 21.

West Orlando

*Grade Power Learning: No student – no matter how academically advanced – is immune from the effects of summer learning loss. By taking a two-month break over the summer, the brain loses much of the information it learned over the school year. This makes sense, because the brain is like any other muscle – it needs to be used continually to keep functioning in peak condition.

*Wekiva River PlayersWekiva River Players is Seminole County’s longest-running theater ensemble, performing continuously since 1993. From its beginnings WRP has served the community, not just providing theatrical entertainment, education and opportunities, but also giving back creatively to support important local causes through donations of time, money and talent. *Bright Horizons: Day camp programs at Bright Horizons® offer indoor and outdoor activities, plus opportunities for fun, friendships, and exploration. Our programs group children by age and encourage their growing ability to make choices, work with others, and assume responsibilities.

*Florida Film Academy:  Florida Film Academy boasts 4 exciting locations to choose from this Summer! Winter Garden – Montverde Academy – Flagler College in St. Augustine – Eckerd College in St.Pete/Tampa area. Join FFA for everything creative!!!  Families can choose from beginner to advanced Pre-College Filmmaking, Creative Photography, Journalism,  Movie Make Up & Special FX camps and more for kids ages 7-12 and teens ages 13-18.  Day camps run Monday – Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm with early drop off and late pick up available.  Residency Camps are also available which include all food and accommodations – please see website for more details

*The Kids Cooking Connection: Two themed 4-day camps, one in June and one in July, for kids ages 6-10 and from the hours of 9am to noon OR 1pm-4pm. Camps teach them the basics of cooking from scratch. They will explore fresh ingredients and dine on their culinary creations. Each cmap offers different lessons and both end in an exciting team competition, complete with prizes. All materials and food are included. All camps are at the Masonic Lodge at 230 W. *Gymnastics USAThe Seasonal Camps are for children between 3 and 12 years old. *City of Winter Garden: Summer Day Camp offers children an interactive opportunity to participate in games, sports, crafts, swimming and much more. This popular program began registration on April 13 and some age groups do fill quickly. Please go online or call the recreation office at 407.656.4155 to check for availability. The first two weeks payment is due by May 15th. Payments not made by May 15th are subject to late charges or cancellation. Registrations made after May 15th require payment for the first two weeks at point of registration. Camp is offered from June 8 – August 14. Space is extremely limited.

*Rollins Nike Summer Tennis Camp: Spend your summer at tennis camp working on your tennis game and making new friends! The Nike Tennis Camp at Rollins College is a summer tennis training camp for young athletes ages 9-18 of all skill levels to come and vastly improve their tennis game. This year we are offering three weeks of week long tennis camp and Extended Day (8:30am-9:00pm) and Day (8:30am-5:30pm) camps for kids ages 9-18 of all abilities. In addition, we will also be offering two special Tournament Tennis Training sessions in July geared towards tournament level and ranked players (ages 11-18) looking to improve their tournament results, learn winning strategies, and work on mental toughness. *Central Florida Performing Arts: This program was designed to train and educate young performers, age 3 through 12th grade, to become skilled in the areas of singing, acting, and dancing through musical theater. Now in its 9th season, the Children and Youth Arts program has grown into an artistic community where each young performer is given the tools needed to become a successful, confident artist and the means to carry those skills throughout life.

*Conductive Education CenterThis is a special needs summer camp for children with cerebral palsy and other related motor disabilities.  CECO can offer your child an intensive conductive education program with the focus on increasing physical and social independence.  The intensive sessions are led by PETO trained conductors including physical, educational and self-care skills. Students are grouped in small classes (up to 6 students max in each classroom) that are segmented to meet your child’s developmental needs. There is one-to-one student to staff ratio (each group is led by a conductor with trained program assistants) and physical and cognitive stimulation for your child throughout the entire day. The daily routine includes programs to develop new skills and improve existing gross motor; fine motor and self-care skills in a group environment. *Winter Park Community Center: Summer camp for kids entering gardes 1-5 and Middle School Camp for grades 6-8.  Check out the website here for fees for residents and non-residents.  There is also a Junior Counselor Program for grades entering 9-12.  Applications are available here.  Teen leadership volunteer program is FREE.  Learn valuable work experience and be positive role models for campers. *4-H Exploding Bacon Robotics Camp:  A week-long day camp that lets students design, build, and program robots. This camp is enriched with mini-projects and week-long goals that promote team-work and creativity. *Creative Inspiration Journey School:  Nothing but fun and excitement awaits your child at CIJS’ summer camp program. School-agers participate in weekly field trips, in addition to school-wide weekly themed activities for infants through age 12. Life-long memorable experiences are made daily with fun-filled activities that encourage creativity and imagination as your child engages in water play, drama, art and gardening-all while developing science and engineering skills through learning with play. Weekly drop-in students are welcome, for school-age students who have previously attended grades Kindergarten or higher during the 2016/2017 school year (depending upon availability).

*Aim’s Amazing Sport and Fitness Camps: Our goal is to make children (ages 5-13) aware of their talents through offering them a variety of after school classes related to fitness and the arts. By doing this each child will be able to build self esteem, coordination and artistic expression in addition to learning how to focus on their skills. *Ron Jon Surf Shop: Camps run June to August but class size is limited so CALL NOW to grab a spot! Simply put – it’s a blast on the beach!! And we keep our instructor to student ratio at a maximum of 1:4, so our classes fill up quickly. All students must be between 7 and 17 years old and able to swim. The classes are divided based upon age and experience, and spots are awarded on a first come, first served basis.

Volusia County

*Pure Life Surf SchoolKids look forward to our Daytona Beach Surf Camp all year long. We are a surf school that grew up surfing in Daytona Beach and Ponce Inlet. Our core values are instilled in our kids as we enhance their surfing skills, knowledge of their ocean environment, and surfing etiquette; especially when surfing down at the inlets and other crowded surf spots. *Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network: The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp (EYCC) is located on the J.W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area in western Palm Beach County. The Youth Camp was created by individuals who cared deeply about conservation, protecting wilderness areas, wildlife in natural habitats and preserving a way of life. The camp facility is managed by the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.

The residential summer camp program is for children completing 3rd – 8th grade. The EYCC also offers a Leadership Camp for youth completing grades 9th – 12th grade. Summer camp activities challenge camper’s physical, mental and social growth. Group leaders and instructors serve as guides through camp life and activities, mentors and role models. EYCC’s summer programs feature a unique conservation education theme with outdoor adventure activities in the Florida Everglades, as well as time to relax, have fun and make new friends.

The Everglades Youth Conservation Camp is an American Camp Association (ACA) accredited facility, meeting all ACA health, safety, and program quality standards.
