2017 Orlando Pioneer Day
2017 Orlando Pioneer Day – Enjoy the 26th Annual Pioneer Day at Pioneer Village in Kissimmee is coming November 11, 2017 from 10 AM to 4 PM.
On November 11, 2017 from 10 AM to 4 PM, enjoy the 26th Annual Pioneer Day at Pioneer Village at Shingle Creek located at 750 N Bass Road in Kissimmee.
Pioneer Day is an annual outdoor festival in celebration of Osceola County’s rich heritage. This tradition was started in 1991 by the Osceola County Historical Society as a way to share Osceola County’s history with its residents and visitors. Pioneer Day features family friendly activities, including live music, a kids craft zone, a real Florida market, historic reenactment, and lessons in pioneer chores like cow-milking and butter-making. As they explore the Pioneer Village, guests will learn how Florida Seminoles and early pioneer families lived off the land long before electricity and air-conditioning. The Osceola County Historical Society’s 26th Annual Pioneer Day will include free admission and free parking for guests.
Bring the little ones to experience a taste of history. In the Kids Zone, children will be able to listen to stories at 11:30AM and 1:30PM, perform “chores” around the house and enjoy fun crafts!
