We told you in May that:
WE WILL NOT RISK SAFETY FOR PROFIT!
| Our commitment to that promise is real. We were working with the OCCC to move the Florida Kids and Family Expo to a safer date, while still honoring their mandate that it be held in 2020. Since May, the OCCC has reversed their requirement and they have given us permission to cancel our 2020 Florida Kids and Family Expo and reschedule it for August 14-15, 2021. While we want to produce this epic expo in 2020, it’s not what is best for families in Central Florida and we want only the best, safest and perfect experience for your family. We are thrilled that OCCC has allowed us to push in 2021 when we can gather in CONFIDENCE that we will all be safe in doing so. We join a long list of events across the country and the world that are cancelling their 2020 events, some for the first time in over 100 years. It’s not what we want, but it’s what needs to happen to protect us all in these uncertain times. All tickets, sponsorships and exhibiting agreements have automatically be reassigned to the 2021 dates. There is nothing you need to do. We will miss you this year, but we will continue to share other great events, information and ideas on our website MyCentralFloridaFamily.com so that you can make the best decisions for your family as to how much or how little you are comfortable doing this year. We wish you safety and happiness in an unsafe and unhappy world right now. We hope that we can do something, through our site, that brings you a glimmer of family memories, indoor and outdoor fun in these times. We’ll see YOU in 2021! |
