27TH ANNUAL K92.3 ALL STAR JAM RETURNS TO ADDITION FINANCIAL ARENA

What:

Country superstars Dan + Shay’s latest single “You” is playing on K92.3 now! “You” made its TV debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, most recently performing the song at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards where they also took home their third Top Country Duo/Group award. In 2021, the duo notched their third consecutive GRAMMY award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance, making them the first artist to do so 3x consecutively since the category’s inception. They took home the win in 2020 for the 6x Multi-Platinum No. 1 “Speechless” and in 2019 for their 7x Multi-Platinum global smash “Tequila,” which has nearly 1.5 billion global streams, making it one of the Top 15 most streamed country songs of all time. The 3x ACM Duo of the Year and 2x CMA Vocal Duo of the Year winners also became the first country artists ever to take home the all-genre Collaboration of the Year trophy at the 2020 American Music Awards, where they were also awarded Favorite Country Duo or Group the following year. They are on the road now thru August with labelmate Kenny Chesney for his “Here And Now Tour 2022”, hitting stadiums across the country.

Outright genre-bending singer/songwriter/rapper Jelly Roll has quietly been building a remarkable career and creative empire, under the radar— under the nose of Nashville’s Music Row and the entire music industry— and doing it on his own terms. Specifically, his first single to country radio, “Son of a Sinner”, has caught the ear of many country music fans in recent months. Since his days selling his mix tapes out of his car, he has constantly been creating and releasing new music and videos, touring relentlessly, and consistently topping various iTunes charts with his deeply personal lyrics and music that blends Old-school Rap, Classic Rock, Country and Soul that is therapeutic, raw and tackles the heaviness in life. In 2020 he released “Save Me”—a confessional, vulnerable expression of self-doubt that took him to new heights, with more than 65 million views on YouTube and Gold certification from the RIAA.

Florida’s Michael Ray has a resonant voice and a knack for crafting vibrant, upbeat contemporary country-rock. Ray is now signed with Warner Music Nashville and has hit songs that include “Kiss You in the Morning”, “Think a Little Less”, and “Whiskey and Rain”.

Mitchell Tenpenny’s new eight-song EP “Midtown Diaries” distills his gift into infectious jams about girls and small towns, anthemic odes to love and raw, rapid-fire heartbreak. “Midtown Diaries” is the follow-up to Tenpenny’s debut album “Telling All My Secrets,” home to his double-platinum 2018 No. 1 smash “Drunk Me”.

Singer/Songwriter Niko Moon wanted to extract the essence of growing up in small-town Georgia on his debut album, GOOD TIME. Banjo forward, swaggy back beat, guitars that tang as much as twang. Sonic tags, melodies that tumble and moments that embody all the warm welcome and friendliness that defined his life as a kid, GOOD TIME creates an old school country ethos. Moon’s latest EP features his current radio single, “Easy Tonight”, along with other feel-good vibin’ songs like “Coastin”.

Hailey Whitters is an Iowa-born, Nashville-based rising country star who scored her breakthrough moment in 2020 with the release of her self-funded debut album THE DREAM, which was praised as “the year’s deepest country album” (The Washington Post).Whitters’ first song to country radio is “Everything She Can’t”, which can be heard on K92.3
