Brevard Zoo Sensory Friendly Events 2019 – Sculpture Safari—Brevard Zoo’s new art installation featuring 16 life-size animals crafted from reclaimed metals—continues to enchant guests nearly two months into its run. On Saturday, May 4, individuals with unique sensory processing needs and their families are invited to experience this exhibit without the crowds. Attendees will also have the opportunity to create their own sculptures to take home.
Brevard Zoo announces upcoming sensory-friendly events
Brevard Zoo | 8225 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne
Saturday, May 4, 2019 | The event begins at 8:30 a.m. (one hour before the Zoo opens to the public) and concludes at 10 a.m.
Free to Zoo Members and $17.95 for Non Members
The Zoo is also hosting sensory-friendly versions of popular events Arctic Blast Tuesdays (on Tuesday, July 16) and Boo at the Zoo (on Saturday, October 5).
