Earth Matters

Orlando Science Center

More Info:  Are you ready to explore our changing planet through a different lens, immerse yourself in incredible ecosystems, and learn how the smallest of actions can have a big impact on our natural world? Visit Earth Matters when it premieres at Orlando Science Center on Sunday, January 22, 2023. This exhibit will be available for public viewing at 12 p.m., following an exclusive preview for Science Center members from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Earth Matters is presented locally by the VoLo Foundation and will be on display until April 30, 2023.

Mount Dora Earth Day Celebration

More Info:  The Zoo will host a special conservation day—the Party for the Planet—in celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 22, which will include interactive activities, special enrichment for the animals and more. Guests can attend our part of the largest combined Earth Day celebration in North America and enjoy a scavenger hunt, games, crafts and more to inspire visitors to take action to care for the planet and its animals. Also, Zoo will open one hour early for guests and families with sensory needs.

More Info:  Join us at the Audubon Center for Birds of Prey for a very special party for the planet this Earth Day! From 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday April 22nd we will have bird meet-and-greets and extra family fun, all included in regular admission or with your annual pass. We’ll be playing some Earth friendly games, planting trees, and going for a scavenger hunt around the Center. Additionally, join us at for guided tours of the Center throughout the day (space is limited and tours are first come first served).

More Info:  Earth Fest 2023 is held on Saturday, April 29, from 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. Highlights include a FREE Tree Giveaway, planting workshops, Drop Savers Award Ceremony, Recycled Art Show, Cigar Box Music Festival, butterfly releases, fun kids activities and lots more! This event is Central Florida’s second largest environmentally friendly festival. Attendees will enjoy plenty of earth-friendly booths, fabulous healthy food vendors, and live music.
