Central Florida Zoo Safety Updates and Openings

Central Florida Zoo Safety Updates and Openings – In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19, the Central Florida Zoo has made an important update to their mask policy.

Central Florida Zoo Safety Updates and Openings

Beginning Monday, June 29, 2020, masks or face coverings will be required for all guests, ages 13 and up, while visiting the Zoo.

“Pit Stops” have been created in designated areas throughout the Zoo to allow guests to remove their face covering. These areas include, the Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground, KaBOOM! Playground, both concession areas, the Spectrum News13 Children’s Garden, the picnic area prior to the Zoo’s entrance, as well as The Florida Trek boardwalk area from Eagle to Clouded Leopard.

Face coverings are still recommended for guests age 12 and under while visiting the Zoo. We thank you for your understanding as we continue our efforts to ensure the health and safety of our staff, volunteers, guests, and animals.
