Cranes Roost Park Events – April & May

*Altamonte Fit Club | Wednesdays | 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

It’s time to think outside the gym! Work up a sweat and build strength utilizing only your body weight. Free fitness classes are open to participants ages 18 and up of all skill levels. Registration is required.

Walk for Parkinson’s | April 1 | 8 – 11:30 a.m.

The Parkinson Association of Central Florida is proud to host the largest gathering of people with Parkinson’s, their friends and loved ones for the 9th Annual Walk for Parkinson’s at Cranes Roost Park. Bring your family, friends and co-workers to raise money that can help fund and support local programs, education and research projects to find a cure for Parkinson’s disease.

Boomers Town Dog Show | April 2 | 12 – 7 p.m.

This event brings together a dog show, live music and car show along with vendors selling pet-related products, artisanal crafts and more. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

Good Friday Service | April 7 | 4:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Good Friday is just the start of Easter weekend and WaterStone Church is kicking it off by gathering with family and friends. This night of worship provides an opportunity to find hope and purpose in your life.

Community Easter Sunrise Service | April 9 | 6:30 – 9 a.m.

WaterStone Church presents a free community service for the entire family. The Easter gathering begins at 6:30 a.m. with a free continental breakfast followed by live worship.

*Date Night in the Plaza| April 15 | 8 – 10 p.m.

We’ve planned the perfect date night so you don’t have to! Don’t miss live music from Blake Guyre performing his tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel. Patrons must be at least 21 years of age. Admission is free. Food and bar beverages available for purchase. Table seating is limited. Gates open at 7:15 p.m.

JDRF One Walk| April 16 | 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

When you participate in JDRF One Walk, the money you raise will power more research, enable more advocacy and fund more support for the 1.45 million Americans living with Type 1 Diabetes. You will also have a great time doing it.

*Uptown Vibes| April 21 | 6 – 10 p.m.

This event features live music, food trucks, interactive games, vendors and a car show with British and exotic cars on display. The featured artist is Life on Mars with their unique renditions of songs loved through the decades. Admission is free. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

NAMIWalks Greater Orlando | April 22 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

NAMIWalks 2023 represents a powerful chance to leave a significant mark on the local mental health landscape. Whether you’re a previous participant or a new voice waiting to be heard, you’ll find the festivities inspiring.

PanCAN PurpleStride 2023| April 29 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.

PurpleStride is a walk to end pancreatic cancer. Join in this event to honor those lost, celebrate survivors and raise funds for essential research and support services.

*Family Fest | May 13 | 12 – 5 p.m.

It’s an afternoon of fun for the whole family! Learn something new with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) activities and demonstrations including scavenger hunt, live animals, music and dance performances, emergency vehicle displays and more! Admission is free. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

*Uptown Vibes| May 19 | 6 – 10 p.m.
Enjoy live music from talented local artists, food trucks and interactive games along with vendors selling unique gifts, decor and more. The featured artist is DEJA bringing their island music that has made them a crowd favorite for years. Admission is free. Food and drinks are available for purchase.

*Cranes Roost Sunset Cinema | May 20 | 8 p.m.

Gather the family for a free outdoor movie. Enjoy a viewing of The Boss Baby.Food and beverages are available for purchase.
