Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Photo Review

Epcot Flower and Garden Festival Photo Review – The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is a unique and unparalleled family experience in Central Florida. Obviously, the theme park is a day of fun in itself, but add in a splash of gardens with a pinch of florals and a dash of amazing food and you have a memory making opportunity for the entire family!

We enjoyed our trip to Walt Disney World‘s Epcot theme park to take in the 25th Flower and Garden Festival in March 2018. Having been to the Flower and Garden Festival before, I can tell you that I’ve never been so impressed with the additions and improvements that this team makes every single year.

A new Belle topiary, based on the Disney animated classic, “Beauty and the Beast,” graces the entrance of the France Pavilion at the 2017 Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival. Topiary artists have found new ways to use a wider variety of plant materials to represent character topiary facial features, bringing Belle’s face to life. The festival, which runs 90 days March 1-May 29, 2017 at Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., features dozens of character topiaries, stunning floral displays, gardening seminars and the Garden Rocks concert series — all included in regular Epcot admission. For My Central Florida Family, we loved seeing all of the characters in bloom. We were astonished with the details and amazed at the creative “nature” of each character. It’s truly a wonder!

We loved walking the park and witnessing the beautiful flowers. Photographing the different varieties created another bonding opportunity as we had contests to see who could capture the best image.

Now, with the Flower and Garden Festival, obviously you can enjoy all of the rides, attractions and live shows that come with a day at Epcot and My Central Florida Family took advantage of those for sure. But, what we didn’t expect was the delicious food that we found at each country along the way.

Sampling foods that fit in with the theme and feel of the festival was a bonus for us. It was Food and Wine Festival meets Flower and Garden Festival, yet the options for purchase were completely new to us as our previous trip to the festival pre-dated the abundance and ease of what was offered to us this year.

As a family, a day at Epcot is always enjoyable. I’ve taken date nights with my husband and with my kids separately as a way to make memories with each of them individually. However, when you can take the time to make those memories with a side of natural beauty and delectable delights, it’s one of the reasons I love the festivals that Epcot offers.
