Henry’s Valentine Party at Avian Reconditioning Center for Birds of Prey

The barn owl is also known as the Valentine owl due to their heart-shaped face. To celebrate, The Avian Reconditioning Center hosts a Valentine’s Day party featuring Henry the barn owl! The event will be February 10th, 2023.
There are two event admission packages and two time frames to choose from. At either time slot you’ll learn more about barn owls and other Florida birds of prey. Extra Sweet Admission includes an additional craft and a memento. See package details below. The craft area is set up in our main area for visiting the birds so you can learn and stay close to the birds throughout the event. There is seating available and you’ll see birds outside, in full view, so you can get the best possible photos. You can also enjoy flight demonstrations, weather permitting. You do not need to purchase event admission for children under 3 but we will only be able to provide craft supplies in the amount of purchased admissions.
There is also an add-on experience to get even closer to Henry. The add-on experience will be available until slots are filled.

$50.00 for up to 4 people Barn Owl Experience Add-On includes:
Get up close and personal with Henry the barn owl! With this add-on experience:
•You meet a general falconer and learn about the sport of falconry
•You hold a barn owl on your gloved hand with instruction from a falconer
•We will take a picture of the experience with your phone
The experience will last up to 20 minutes, but we reserve the right to end sooner for any reason. The experience is limited to a group of 4 people at a time, with only one individual in the group being the primary guest handler. Before the end of your session, Henry can pose on each person’s gloved hand for a picture. This is an add-on package and event admission ticket is needed for each attendee.
