Otronicon is the Science Center’s largest annual event, hosting more than 15,000 visitors last year. This event features multiple industry partners including University of Central Florida, Lockheed Martin, Walt Disney World Resort, Microsoft, and a host of local tech entrepreneurs. Discover the innovation taking place in your own backyard and how it is changing the world! In the Science Center’s exhibit halls, you will experience the latest advancements in augmented, virtual, and mixed reality. Otronicon’s Keynote Speaker, Kate Edwards will present “Career Paths into Game Creation” during the day on January 18, and once during adults-only Science Night Live later that evening. Kate Edwards is the Executive Director of the Global Game Jam, as well as the CEO and principal consultant of Geogrify.
