Secret World of Spies with Orlando Science Center

February 20 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until 05/03/2020

Grab your decoder rings and take on the role of a spy to solve the Quantum Computer crime in the newest exhibit coming to Orlando Science Center. Top Secret: License to Spy premieres January 25 and invites visitors of all ages to explore the science and technology of espionage. Participants will gather the intelligence needed to complete their mission by breaking codes, uncovering microdots, using spy satellites and creating elusive disguises.

This exhibition is an excellent demonstration of how scientific thinking can be used to solve problems in many aspects of everyday life. As a spy, participants will tour 21 interactive stations that showcase how science and technology help solve mysteries, including:

  • Navigate a room full of laser beams without setting off the alarm!
  • After entering a room that has been bugged, you must find the hidden microphones by watching the reactions on an oscilloscope while tapping various objects around the room.
  • Place your thumbprint on a scanner and gain access to satellite technology that helps you zone in on suspicious activity. Learn how satellites pinpoint geographic locations, and narrow your search using latitude and longitude coordinates.
  • And so much more! Crack the code by aligning each section of a transparent combination lock, go undercover by creating a disguise, change your voice to confuse enemy agents and more!

Top Secret will amaze children and adults alike with behind the scenes glimpse of an undercover world that has been re-created with life-like sets and activities. Science has never been so….Top Secret!

Top Secret: License to Spy is on display at Orlando Science Center until May 3, 2020. It is included with general admission and free to Science Center members. For more information, please visit It was created by Scitech in Western Perth, Australia and produced by Imagine Exhibitions.
