Get Vaxxed for Tickets to OSC
Get Vaxxed for Tickets to OSC – Health Care Workers from the Florida Department of Health will be at Orlando Science Center on Saturday, September 25 to administer COVID-19 vaccinations to anyone who is eligible. Vaccines will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on a first come, first serve basis for the general public as well as those visiting the Science Center that day.
Click any of the buttons below to follow us for more news and information.
Those who get the vaccine will also receive a complimentary ticket for general admission that can be redeemed that day, or on your next visit. Orlando Science Center Members and visitors who have pre-purchased tickets may take advantage of this event at any time during your visit.
During the day, Orlando Science Center will host presentations that explain how COVID-19 vaccines work and how mRNA vaccines are developed. Visitors will participate in hands-on challenges where they engineer their own solution to prevent a virus from connecting with a host. In the NatureWorks exhibit, there will be scheduled appearances by our animal ambassadors while our team discusses vaccines for animals and how the pandemic has affected zoo policies.

If you are only coming to Orlando Science Center for your vaccination, please park in the garage and walk across the street to the Science Center’s Entrance A on Camden Road.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:

Our new exhibit for the fall, Design Zone, will be premiering on Saturday, September 25. It will be open to the public at noon, following an exclusive preview for Science Center Members.
What do mixing dance tracks, creating video games, and building roller coasters have in common? Math!
In Design Zone, presented by The Macauley and Helen Dow Whiting Foundation, visitors get hands-on with mathematical concepts like patterns, variables and ratios and experience how they’re used by artists, architects, engineers, musicians, and other innovators.
The exhibit is included with paid admission to Orlando Science Center. Get more information on Design Zone here: www.osc.org/design-zone.
Vaccinations are free, but if you plan to stay to experience the Science Center afterwards, please proceed to the box office on Level 2 for tickets or get tickets in advance here: www.osc.org/tickets.
