I Used Zenni Optical and I’m a Fan – Family Review – I went to my optometrist for myself and my son in January 2023. The bill for just my glasses (frames, progressive bifocals, transitions, etc.) and the bill was $1000! I was astounded. I walked out with a new prescription, but no new glasses. A man at an Orlando Magic game told me about a website he had used for years and I sent myself a note about it and decided to try it out. I am now a fan of Zenni Optical! What:
While we have signed up to be an affiliate to Zenni Optical, our views and reviews are our own! I started by logging into their website. I immediately saw frames from $12.95 (even less). The frames I was looking at were $600 at the optometrists office. So, I continued.
I found frames I liked, but how would I know how they looked on my face? Well, there is a tool on their site where you look into the camera and turn your head left and right. Then, you can place any frame on your face. It’s almost better than looking in a mirror because you can see how they look on your face from the outside looking in. I loved the tool. And the frames!
I went through the process of putting in my prescription from the optometrist. This was easier than I had imagined it would be. I chose the progressive lenses, anti-glare, scratch resistance, Transitions, and everything I would have opted in for at the optometrist’s office. The grand total? $219.80! A fraction of what the other glasses would cost me.
I was nervous about receiving them or having them be accurate to the description and/or prescription, so I purchased them through my PayPal account for some protection. Zenni said I would receive the glasses within 7-10 days and I had them within about a week. I loved the glasses. I loved the prescription. My entire experience was fantastic and I saved about $750!
