Leu Gardens Spring Events 2018 – Check out some of the fun coming up at Leu Gardens. From movies to fairies to storytime and Mother’s Day offers, you can find something for everyone in the family at Leu Gardens!
It’s the great fairy migration happening at beautiful Leu Gardens this summer! Explore the 50‐acre gardens to find where the fairies live. This whimsical exhibit will feature fifteen one‐of‐a‐kind fairy doors which will inspire your child’s imaginative world of mythical forests and secret gardens. All you have to do is fine these beautiful doors and let your child’s creativity do the rest. The fairies will call Leu Gardens’ home from June 30 – September 23, 2018.
Admission to the Enchanted Fairy Doors Exhibit is included in the daytime garden admission: $10 adult, $5 child (ages 4 – 17 years). Movies at Leu Gardens
Experience movies outdoors in Orlando’s most beautiful garden! Leu Gardens offers an amazing and unique setting to see a classic or current feature film. Each month from February to December, no movie in July, Leu Gardens hosts a movie night at the floral clock on a 32 ft screen, weather permitting. Movie goers may bring dinner picnics including alcohol and seating (chairs or blanket) then sit back and enjoy an outdoor movie. Best of all, Leu Gardens opens early at 6:00 pm on all movie nights so movie goers can stroll the 50‐acre gardens before the movie.
Movie times vary: for February, March, October thru December movie time is 7:30 pm. Movie time for April thru August is 8:30 pm. September’s movie time is 8:00 pm. Grilled items, popcorn and drinks are available for purchase. Garden admission: $6 adult, $3 child (ages 4 – 17 years) and free admission for Leu Garden Members. Leu Gardens is located at 1920 N. Storytime at Leu Gardens
Story Time at Leu Gardens is a fun approach illustrating to young children the benefits of reading through songs, rhymes and books. Story tellers from Orange County Library System share a variety of ways to engage your child into playful reading. Story Time is for families with infants to 5 years of age. It is held the first Monday of each month, excluding City holidays (no story time in July and September 2018) and is free! Hundreds of families participate each month in this amazing and imaginative story time event. The event runs from 10:00 am ‐ 11:00 am with three age appropriate sessions. Thank you to Kids Urgent Care for sponsoring this free event to our community.
Story Time at Leu Gardens was started in the summer of 2005 through a partnership with Orange County Library System and Leu Gardens. Orange County Library System’s story time program is designed to inspire children to enjoy books and to help parents/caregivers teach and bond with their young children.
Story time age sessions:
10:00 ‐ 10:15 am Infants to 18 months (5 minute break)
10:20 – 10:35 am Toddlers (5 minute break)
10:40 – 11:00 am Preschoolers

Mother’s Day Offer from Leu Gardens
Harry P. Leu Gardens celebrates Moms! FREE Admission for Moms all day, Sunday, May 13, 2018, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Take a stroll with your mom exploring 50‐acres of beautiful gardens including Florida’s largest rose garden which is in full bloom the month of May and take a moment at the Lake Rowena Overlook to discover the abundance of wildlife surrounding Leu Gardens’ lakefront. Treat your mom to a special sweet in the gardens from Sugarbuzz and Peak Season Pops who will be selling delicious desserts. We hope you enjoy this special day with your Mom.
