Orange County Library July 2019 Events –

The adventure continues this July during the Summer Reading Program as the library offers more out-of-this-world programming and events. It’s been 50 years since the United States put a man on the moon. Celebrate this milestone at the Orlando Public Library on July 20 during One Giant Leap: A 50th Anniversary of the Moon Landing. Meet Jet Propulsion from PBS KIDS animated series, Ready Jet Go! There will also be activities for the family to enjoy, virtual reality and more.

The library will also be hosting camp courses throughout the summer, like the Melrose Camps where students can explore and learn in S.T.E.A.M. programming and digital arts. WhizKids camps and courses offer technology classes where kids can create video games, comics, 3D movies, build robots and more. Visit ocls.info/srp for more info. Don’t forget to track your summer reading and activities with Beanstack to earn badges for a chance to win some great prizes at the End of Summer Celebration happening on August 3.
