Orange County Library May Events 2018

Mother’s Day is May 13 and to celebrate Mom, the library has some special events in store. Visit the Washington Park branch on May 7 to learn to make a corsage that kids can take home as a gift to give Mom. On May 9 at the North Orange branch, design your own pop-up card. Kids will learn about paper engineering while they cut, fold and decorate a custom-made card. On May 10, join the Windermere branch for some tea, snacks and crafts during Mother’s Day Tea.

Don’t forget: Registration is now open for the 2018 Summer Reading Program. Register now for fun events like robot building, sewing, arts and crafts, music and more. Earn virtual badges and enter to win some awesome prizes. The fun begins on June 2. Visit ocls.info/summer-reading-program for a list of all events and more details.
