Orange County Library November 2018 Events – Bring the kids to the library this November and gobble up some fun. Learn how to take an ordinary cupcake and transform it into an adorable turkey during Cuisine Corner Junior’s Gobble, Gobble, Cakes, starting on November 13 at the Orlando Public Library. Everyone’s favorite mouse is turning 90 years old this year. Help celebrate Mickey Mouse’s birthday with games, crafts and more all month long starting at the West Oaks branch on November 8. Then on November 11 stop in at the downtown library for the second annual Orlando Children’s Business Fair where young entrepreneurs will showcase their inventions and share their marketing strategies to all. The fun starts at 2 pm.

What do Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and an Orange County third grader have in common? They are all entrepreneurs who innovate and serve their communities. Join us for the Orlando Children’s Business Fair and together we can invest in the success of the next generation of entrepreneurs. The Fair is a one-day marketplace where children will debut their inventions, market their services or products and build marketing strategies. Businesses featured in the marketplace are all owned by young people, ages 6–17, who applied to participate in the business fair and competition. Booths will be judged by fellow entrepreneurs on a variety of criteria, including: most original business idea, highest business potential, and best presentation/creativity.
