After launching in 2020, the cast and crew quickly realized everything was not as it seemed. More Info: Festival of Frights is a family friendly, two-day Halloween Festival hosted by The City of Oviedo, including The Haunted Fun House Maze, Spooky Mansion Slide, haunted train rides around Center Lake, swan boat rides, carnival games, food trucks, DJ’s and music, and more. Festival of Frights is a FREE event, but wristbands are required for the attractions and Swan Boat rides. Separate tickets will be sold for Carnival Games. Food, drinks, and alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase and will be available through a variety of food trucks.

ICON Park is offering complimentary tickets to The Wheel for kids 12 and under who are dressed up in costumes, while their family members riding along will receive 50 percent off their tickets to The Wheel (up to four tickets). A free ghoulish glowing light show will take place on The Lawn each night, with a show at 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and shows at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Watch as The Wheel’s 64,000 LED lights dance to the spooky soundtrack during a 10-minute production.

More Info: The season opens with a theatrical one-man version of the classic The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (October 8 – 31, 2021) just in time for Halloween. A favorite Orlando REP actor, Stephen Pugh, takes on multiple characters as he vividly takes us back to the quaint village of Sleepy Hollow, where stories of wonder and spookiness surround the legend of a headless horseman and schoolmaster Ichabod Crane. Derek G. Martin and Jesse M. Sullivan adapted this Washington Irving classic for the stage. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is supported by Orange County Arts and Cultural Affairs.
