Orlando Science Center STEAM Gallery
Orlando Science Center STEAM Gallery – Orlando Science Center’s STEAM Gallery gets new traveling art exhibition. Identity and the Landscape by Gabe Cortest and Sheherazade Thenard to display Fusion: A STEAM Gallery from February 1, 2019 through April 23, 2019 from 10 AM to 5 PM daily.
Orlando Science Center is now showing new art exhibition, Identity and the Landscape in Fusion: A STEAM Gallery. Created by Gabe Cortese and Sheherazade Thenard, alumni of University of Central Florida’s School of Visual Arts and Design, their work showcases the unique and ever-growing relationship between science and the arts. This exhibition features work inspired by Florida’s lush landscape and exploring how the environment can be used as a metaphor for the constraints and growth experienced while learning ones identity.
“Much of the art created today is meant to spark and reignite conversations about life and the choices we make and how those choices are influenced by our environments. Showing our work in Orlando Science Center instead of an art museum for this STEAM exhibition, we have the ability to reach an audience we may not have and continue these conversations.” – Sheherazade Thenard
