Orlando Science Center Ultimate Flight Exhibition

Orlando Science Center Ultimate Flight Exhibition – Passengers prepare for lift off! Above and Beyond, Orlando Science Center’s newest traveling exhibit invites you to explore the greatest accomplishments in aviation from birds to planes to Mars-bound spacecraft. Presented by Boeing to commemorate 100 years of flight, this new interactive experience launches guests into the future of aerospace technology and air travel. The exhibit premieres at Orlando Science Center on February 2.

Orlando Science Center Ultimate Flight Exhibition

What:

“Orlando Science Center uses iconic experiences to engage all ages in an active exploration of science and technology to discover the possibilities available in STEM careers,” said President and CEO JoAnn Newman. “Above and Beyond provides such experiences through hands-on activities and presentations that feature real world examples of science in flight.”

The exhibit offers 5,000-square-feet of unprecedented interactives demonstrating advances in aviation and aerospace, from the first powered flights to the latest innovations for space travel. Visitors can step into a simulated space elevator that takes them to geosynchronous Earth orbit or design and test a supersonic fighter jet to face off in a virtual high-speed flying competition, plus get a sense what it’s like to fly like a bird using a simulation with motion-sensing technology.

Where:

Orlando Science Center  | 777 E. Princeton Street, Orlando

Cost:

Above and Beyond is included with admission to Orlando Science Center, which is free for members, $20.95 for adults, $18.95 for seniors and students, and $14.95 for youth (ages 3 – 11).
