Ormond Beach Celtic Festival Rescheduled for September 2021
Ormond Beach Celtic Festival Rescheduled for September 2021 – The 10th annual Ormond Beach Celtic Festival – usually held each spring during the third week of April – has been postponed to a new date in September. Clans, pipers, and highland games athletes will gather at The Casements and Rockefeller Gardens on September 11 and 12, 2021.
“Of course, it’s disappointing not be able to enjoy the festival this Spring,” said festival founder and musician, Chuck Spano. “But there is still an issue with COVID safety that we hope will be behind us by the Fall.” Ormond Beach MainStreet, which puts on the festival, confirmed that audience and performer safety was its highest concern and instrumental in its decision to postpone. The April 2020 festival was canceled due to the pandemic.
The award-winning festival features more than 30 bands on 5 stages, Celtic food and vendors, a gathering of clans, and a Highland Games. The event usually draws about 10,000 visitors over the two days. Tickets for the new dates will be available online beginning in August.
