Florida Film Academy is celebrating 10 years of serving Central Florida families! Experience the backlot movie studio THIS Summer for a stellar line up of Summer camps for kids and teens! Summer camp at the National Campus kicks off the week of June 1, 2020 and will conclude on August 7, 2020. There are 10 weekly sessions to choose from. The camp will provide options for all ages and abilities. In addition to morning on-court tennis training and afternoon match-play opportunities, the expert coaching staff will help guide players in developing comprehensive and individualized training plans. They will also offer personal guidance on tournament play and competitive scheduling.

City of Altamonte Springs Summer Camp: Summer time is a great time to play outdoors, learn new things and make new friends. The Altamonte Springs Recreation Summer Camp takes place at Westmonte Park and is limited to City residents. Children ages 6 to 12 can participate in our one-of-a-kind learning experience. Activities include arts and crafts, optional field trips, games, organized sports, movies and swimming. Programs such as gymnastics, swim team, splashball, tennis and cheerleading are also available to those who are interested. Registration is limited to City of Altamonte Springs residents only. Space is limited to 300 participants.
O2B Kids: Any child entering First through Eighth Grade who wants to investigate the mysteries of science, plant a garden, make a movie, paint a picture, sing a song, learn a dance, do a flip, write an article, build a float, take a trip, play basketball, laugh, learn or play with their friends should attend Summer Camp. Imagine If: Our one-week camps are Broadway style classes! These classes are performing arts camps designed to give students the ultimate musical theater experience. Kiddie Academy: Camp Adventure is designed for children up to age 12 and is another way Kiddie Academy gives your child Life Essentials. Children spend quality time participating in water play and physical fitness activities, and some age groups will have the ability to go on many fun and educational field trips throughout the summer. Sweetwater Summer Day Camp: Sweetwater Summer Day Camp was established in 1983 as a summer day camp program sponsored by the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection and open to the community. Our programs are designed for children ranging in the age of PreK to entering 6th grade. Daily activities include art, music, science explorations, swimming, canoeing and P.E. All activities take place in our air-conditioned facility as well on the grounds of our tree-shaded 10-acre campus right on Lake Brantley.

Camp J: Since 1973, the Roth JCC of Greater Orlando has been home to an incredible summer camp in the heart of Maitland. The Roth JCC’s 12-acre campus in Maitland is the perfect site for a full, enriching camp experience. Our air-conditioned facility features a gymnasium, art studio, game room, and theater. But our outdoor facilities are what really make our camp experience. Kids Camp at City Church Academy, Airport Blvd. This is a day camp for boys and girls where we will provide a fun, safe, loving atmosphere for your child this summer. It is run by Chandra Story, a Florida State Certified Teacher with 14 years of teaching experience. Our days will be structured with all sorts of activities that every child will be able to participate in. There will be arts and crafts, lots of sports opportunities, swimming, music, drama, games, reflective time, movies, Bible lessons, kids in the kitchen, field trips, and more.

+Saint Andrew’s Conservatory Summer Music Academy: (WAITING FOR 2020 UPDATES) We offer a 5-day Summer Music Academy that provides a fun setting for your child to learn and grow, both musically and spiritually, this summer! Our half-day program is open to elementary-age students with no previous musical experience required. Students will spend their week singing in choir, as well as playing Orff instruments, handchimes, and recorders. Our full-day program is open to middle and high school students who are intermediate to advanced level instrumental musicians. Students will spend their week rehearsing in both small and large ensemble settings (chamber ensembles, orchestra), learning music theory, and working with faculty in recital and masterclass settings. Academy sessions are taught by contracted instructors who are confessing Christians and who take their mission as teachers/performers seriously.
Wekiva River Players: Wekiva River Players is Seminole County’s longest-running theater ensemble, performing continuously since 1993. From its beginnings WRP has served the community, not just providing theatrical entertainment, education and opportunities, but also giving back creatively to support important local causes through donations of time, money and talent. Over the years we’ve worked with a variety of charitable organizations, including our recent and ongoing involvement with Music for Melons, raising funds for breast cancer research.
Quest’s Camp Thunderbird:Since 1969, Quest’s Camp Thunderbird has been dedicated to providing recreational programs for adults with developmental disabilities, giving them a chance to learn key skills while making new friends and unforgettable memories. Each summer, nearly 400 camp guests 18 and over have the time of their lives participating in Camp Thunderbird’s variety of fun activities. From camping, swimming, nature studies and arts & crafts, to canoeing, archery, evening socials and sports & games, camp offers the same adventures available at other camp programs – but in a fully-accessible environment tailored to meet the diverse needs of the camp guests.
OCA: OCA offers camps year round. When OCPS in not in session OCA will hold camp at various locations or at their main campus on Eli St in downtown Orlando. Camp is run by Qualified trained staff of teachers, teacher assistants, volunteers and therapist who have extensive knowledge of working with children with Autism and other disabilities. What makes OCA Camp so unique is that typical peers (CIT’s) provide age appropriate modeling in social skills training, language development and gross and fine motor movements
EA Get in the Game Summer Camp 2020: For high school girls only. Hosted at the EA studio in Orlando, July 13-17, this exclusive opportunity for 15 outstanding students includes five days jam-packed with computer science lessons, hands-on problem-solving and inspirational presentations led by passionate EA team members. Program graduates receive a free laptop and a guaranteed interview for an internship at EA after graduating from high school and taking relevant coursework at the college level.
