It’s not all theme parks either! Check out what we’ve found to do today (and everyday) below. Central Florida Nights with Emil Buehler Planetarium

March 15 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

7538

“Central Florida Nights” is the flagship presentation of the Planetarium, shown more times each year than any other show. Offering a guided tour of the current night sky, it is updated every two weeks to match the slow march of constellations we see as Earth revolves around the sun. During each presentation, guests will learn how to locate seven or eight prominent constellations. The locations of the visible planets, upcoming meteor showers, bright comets and other notable celestial happenings will also be explored.

Skies permitting, guests can go outside afterward to identify many of the objects seen during the show. They can also take a look at the night sky through the planetarium’s telescopes. Please note that the planetarium will not hold telescope viewings during the months of June, July and August and September.

Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for students and seniors (55+). Seminole State students, faculty, and staff are free with photo ID. Seating is first come, first served and there is no advanced reservations. Cash or check payment only at this time.

Appropriate for all ages.
