Family Studio @ Rollins Museum of Art with Kid-sized Tour, Story time, and Art Making for Ages 5-10

Join us for a memorable day of art and exploration at the Rollins Museum of Art! These events are FREE. Registration Required

Designed for ages 5-10, Family Studio provides a fun and interactive experience for young children and their favorite adult to explore the world of art. Each session is inspired by works on view in the museum and includes an exclusive tour, story time, and an art activity.

WHAT WILL I DO IN FAMILY STUDIO?
Participants start with an interactive, engaging tour of the museum’s on-view collection with opportunities for children to ask questions and express their own opinions about art.
Then move on to story time where a museum educator will read a story related to the art on display.
Finally, an art making activity, where children will have the opportunity to create their own works of art using a variety of materials and techniques inspired by Rollins Museum of Art artists.
WHO CAN ATTEND?
This program is open to children ages 5 –10 and one accompanying adult.

Parking options include a limited number of designated museum visitor spaces adjacent to the Museum on Holt Ave. Please register your vehicle – color and make of car – at the front desk; Free parking at the Truist Parking Garage at Lyman Avenue with a validated ticket from the Museum; and the Rollins Parking Garage, located at the corner of Fairbanks and Ollie Avenues.
