This is the Orlando Events Calendar for kids and families in Central Florida. Orlando is the kid capital of the world and we never lack in things to do with kids in the greater Orlando area. It’s not all theme parks either! Check out what we’ve found to do today (and everyday) below. You can switch views, filter the results, change the dates, and anything you need to in order to find fun family events in Central Florida.

At the Art & History Museums Maitland, kids can stay creative and artistically engaged all summer long on our beautiful and historic campus, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando! During these FREE hands-on arts and crafts workshops, families can drop-in and create a new art project every week at their own pace.

On July 10, summer is blooming all around our campus, and with it a confetti of tiny treasures like pressed flowers and leaves, mini stones and even tiny sea shells! Join us as children hand-build their own clay pinch pots, and then embellish it with wonderful tiny treasures from our garden! Our pinch pots are inspired by A&H’s founding artist, J. André Smith, who was a sculpture artist, and they’ll be ready to take home after the workshop!

After creating, you can extend your outing by bringing a bagged lunch and picnicking next door at Quinn Strong Park.

Summer Family Workshops at A&H are brought to you free of charge and sponsored by AdventHealth. Space and supplies are limited (one pinch pot per child), so reserve a spot for your family today!
