Giving Tuesday at St. Luke’s UMC

Giving Tuesday is November 28, 2023
This Giving Tuesday, give a special gift to help support St. Luke’s Missions partner, Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). All gifts collected will go toward buying new mattresses, bedding, and pillows for 40 children in Orange County.
As part of our Restoring Hope Initiative, SHP fits well with our commitment to sustainable and dignified housing for our neighbors.
Close to 800,000 children in the U.S. don’t have a bed. These children end up sleeping on floors – sometimes without a mattress. A bed is a basic need for the physical, emotional, and mental well-being of a child. SHP is a national organization answering the call to a national problem. They partner with organizations to build, assemble, and deliver top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need.
