Historic Downtown Winter Garden
Historic Downtown Winter Garden is transformed into a Holiday Wonderland for making merry memories. In addition, the City of Winter Garden provides free holiday light shows, live entertainment, themed photo stations, colorful light displays and decorations, and so much more to delight all ages! The 38 days of ‘Tis the Season (December 1, 2023 – January 7, 2024) downtown festivities kickoff with Light Up Winter Garden!

All events and activities are FREE, except for the Horse Drawn Holiday Carriage Tours.
A VERY MERRY WINTER GARDEN LIGHT SHOW
December 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23: 6:00-9:00 pm
This annual animated holiday light extravaganza has become a holiday tradition to so many households. The front façade of Winter Garden City Hall (300 W. Plant St.) becomes the canvas for this spectacular show synchronized to music.
STROLLING HOLIDAY-THEMED PERFORMERS
Be on the lookout for pop-up street performers to delight all ages on Friday and Saturday evenings (Dec.1 – 23) from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
HORSE DRAWN HOLIDAY CARRIAGE TOURS
December 3, 10, 12, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, 28
SOUL Haven Ranch is offering 20-minute horse drawn carriage tour experiences through festive downtown Winter Garden on select nights. The tours are available from 5:30 – 9:30 pm. Step into the carriage at the Downtown Pavilion (104 S. Lakeview Ave.) and enter a fairy tale adventure as you wind through the festive sights and sounds of downtown. Reservation/fee required at www.soulhavenranch.com
HOLIDAY FRIDAYS ON THE PLAZA
Live holiday music will fill the downtown air every Friday evening in December. The concerts are from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the Centennial Plaza gazebo in the center of historic downtown.

“It’s a Wonderful Life in Winter Garden” art exhibit at Art in Public Places Gallery at City Hall during regular operating hours (M – F, 7:30 am – 5:30 pm), November 1 – January 5. The exhibit is curated by the Crealdé School of Art and the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation.
FREE PARKING – Always! Parking is always free downtown, including at the public three-level parking garage (160 S.
Boyd St.), 117-space parking lot (37 N. Boyd St.), Sam Williams Little League Complex (415 S. Park Ave.), and a little further up the road at Veterans Memorial Park (420 S. Park Ave.).
ROAD CLOSURES, December 1 at 2:00 pm – December 2 at 11:00 pm Please note that West Plant Street from Dillard Street to Park Avenue, and a portion of its adjoining side streets, will be CLOSED in the historic downtown area December 1 – 2 for community events being held during that time frame.
