Oviedo Mall “May the Fourth Sip & Shop” Event

Oviedo Mall is excited to announce its upcoming event, “May the 4th Sip & Shop,” taking  place on Thursday May 4, 2023 from 5:30pm-8:00pm. This free event is open to the public and will feature a food and wine stroll around the mall, themed trivia, giveaways, photo opens, and even some special characters visiting from a galaxy far, far away!

Guests can enjoy an evening of sipping and shopping with special Mother’s Day discounts at participating stores. “We invite everyone to come out and shop for Mother’s Day while enjoying an out of this world event and a chance to explore all the new businesses we have to offer,” said Josh Gunderson, Oviedo Mall’s Director of Marketing & Events. “Our amazing small businesses offer some unique and thoughtful gift options that are perfect for any mom.”

Guests are encouraged to dress in their outer space best and may even receive a special gift! “Our aim is to offer an unforgettable experience to our customers where they can come and show support to some of the over 50 small businesses that call Oviedo Mall home. We can’t wait for everyone to come and see what they’ve been missing!”

For families with children, Mad Science Laboratory will be hosting a special “May the Fourth
Workshop” from 5:00pm-6:00pm, where kids can explore the science of lasers and make their own lightsaber stick. Sign-ups are available now at https://cfl.madscience.org/, with a cost of $35 per child when booked in advance or $30 for walk-ins.
