World Ocean Day—Early access for guests with sensory needs
June 10 @ 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Included in Zoo general admission
The Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens will celebrate World Ocean Day on Saturday, June 10! Guests can learn about our planet’s beautiful oceans and be inspired to take action to protect marine life through interactive games, activities, crafts, and more.
Plus, to make sure all have the chance to celebrate, the Zoo will be opening one hour early for guests and families with sensory needs. Guests who have sensory needs can enter at 8 a.m., and until 9 a.m., the Zoo will have special operations to accommodate them, including limited attendance for quieter crowds; sensory bags available with noise-cancelling headphones and fidget tools; and a dedicated classroom for safe space to take a break if needed. The celebration will continue until 3 p.m. and is included in Zoo admission.
