Each event take places at Cranes Roost Park in Altamonte Springs.
*Altamonte Fit Club | Wednesdays | 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
It’s time to think outside the gym! Work up a sweat and build strength utilizing only your body weight. Free fitness classes are open to participants ages 18 and up of all skill levels. Registration is required.
India Day Parade | August 19 | 4 – 9 p.m.
Join the Gujarati Society of Central Florida for an India Independence Day celebration. The event showcases cultural music, dance, food, drink and a celebratory parade.
Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk | September 9 | 6:30 – 10 a.m.
Honor the sacrifices of our first responders and military heroes. Proceeds benefit the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, including the Building for America’s Bravest program, which builds specially adapted homes for our nation’s most catastrophically injured service members. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. The race starts at 7:30 a.m.
*Uptown Vibes Food Truck Extravaganza | September 15 | 6 – 10 p.m.
Embrace your inner foodie and enjoy cuisines from over 30 food trucks along with music and games. Admission is free.
*Cranes Roost Sunset Cinema | September 16 | 8 p.m.
Enjoy a free movie night under the stars. September’s feature is “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.” Arrive early for seating and movie giveaways. Food and beverages available for purchase.
