Kennedy Space Center Family Review
Kennedy Space Center Family Review– This visit took place in 2014, but I was so impressed with all that Kennedy Space Center has to offer families. We couldn’t get everything done in the day!
I haven’t been to Kennedy Space Center since I was a child, but on a recent business visit, I was amazed at how much there was to do for kids and families at their Visitor Complex, so I took the family out for a visit!
Once we told the kids we were heading out to Kennedy Space Center for the day, they were so excited. They couldn’t stop talking about rockets and shuttles and space travel.
We arrived around 10 AM and began investigating the property. We watched the IMAX movie on the space station and had lunch with an astronaut. The kids really loved the hands on activities and the launch simulator.
We should have arrived when the Visitor Complex opened at 9 because we ran out of time to take the bus tour, but we heard it was a must see. So, when you go, get there early and plan for a full day of hands on space, rocket and shuttle fun! My husband, who had never been to Kennedy Space Center before, had a great time as well. It was a fun day for the entire family!
