What:

The library is helping Orange County residents learn about and prepare for the total solar eclipse on April 8. Receive free solar viewing glasses, while supplies last, when you attend any of our eclipse events like Solar Eclipse 101 with Emil Buehler Planetarium director Derek Demeter or learn about the solar system while making out-of-this-world snacks during Cuisine Corner Junior Cuisine Corner Junior: Sun Pizza or Solar Cupcakes classes. Check out all the events related to the upcoming eclipse at ocls.info/eclipse.

OCLS offers writers numerous opportunities in March to learn, grow and connect through events like our Meet the Author series. In March, join OCLS in conversation with authors like Madeline Miller (Circe, The Song of Achilles), Christopher Paolini (Eragon) and Nina Totenberg (Dinners with Ruth). On Sunday, March 24, at Orlando Public Library, local authors from a variety of genres will share their books and experiences at the Local Author Festival.
