Orlando Science Center Dinos in Lights Show – Add some sparkle to the holiday season and see some of your favorite creatures from the Cretaceous in a whole new light with the Dinos in Lights show at Orlando Science Center! Join Stan the T-Rex and his fossil friends in DinoDigs as they show off their twinkling talent in a festive display of music and light. Each family-friendly show will run for four minutes and is included in general admission. Be sure to see it multiple times on your visit as the experience is different from every angle. Shows begin every 30 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. daily. The holiday fun continues with a laser light show in the Dr. Phillips CineDome as you follow Squeaky the Penguin through a medley of nostalgic winter favorites. Then embrace the snowy vibe with the cool views of Antarctica, the new film playing in our Digital Adventure Theater.

Following these holiday shows, don’t miss out on four floors of wonder and discovery to engage and inspire the whole family. Spend some time indulging your creativity with holiday-themed creations in the hands-on makerspace or let your little ones play to learn in one of the seven interactive zones of KidsTown. You can also check out “Capturing the Cosmos,” the amazing new astrophotography exhibit in Fusion: A STEAM Gallery. This incredible exhibition by renowned astrophotographer Derek Demeter covers three major areas of astrophotography, all uniquely shot from Florida: scenic nightscapes that juxtapose the natural environment of Earth and the night sky, celestial neighbors we find within our Solar System, and wondrous deep-sky phenomena of colorful nebulae and expansive galaxies.

And now for a limited time, race into Hot Wheels™: Race to Win™ presented by Nemours Children’s Health! From choosing an aerodynamic design to securing the safety of your driver, you and your crew will work together to design, build, test, and play with some of the most iconic and nostalgic racecars on the planet! With over a dozen interactive exhibit pieces, this behind-the-scenes look at the thrilling world of racing investigates the scientific process for designing super-fast cars and helps those who have the need for speed understand how it’s achieved. Hot Wheels™: Race to Win™! was created and designed by The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and Mattel.

Admission to Orlando Science Center is free for members, $24 for adults, $22 for seniors and students, and $18 for youth (ages 2 – 11). Tickets include access to all four floors of shows and exhibits including Dinos in Lights, Hot Wheels™: Race to Win™, laser shows, films, and live programming.
