What:
CareerSource Central Florida is offering two no-cost certification programs for single mothers-to-be and single mothers with children five years of age and under. Participants will increase their skills, earn a certification, and learn about community resources. Earn a Microsoft Office Specialist Certification in 6 weeks or earn the Florida Ready to Work Certification in just 2 weeks.
Upon program completion, CareerSource Central Florida will help connect individuals to employment opportunities.

The Career + Care initiative is here to help single mothers-to-be and new single mothers connect with family-friendly employment. Get support to overcome personal and professional challenges so that you can thrive in a career that matches your lifestyle and allows you to provide for your family.
Comprehensive career services are available at no cost, including career exploration, resume writing, interview skills, job search, scholarships to train for a career, and access to other support resources such as transportation and childcare assistance.
Who can participate in Career + Care?
- Single mothers-to-be
- Single mothers with children 5 years old and under
- Must reside in Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, or Sumter County
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
