You’ll see the story of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas!™ in larger-than-life sculptures and even plunge down slides made entirely of ice in this Gaylord Hotels original experience.

Light Up Eustis

More Info: This free party to celebrate the holiday lights of Eustis brings Santa and Mrs. Claus to downtown along with real reindeer, live music, food vendors and more.  5 to 9 p.m.  This year there will also be snow and a 75′ snow slide for the kids.  

Winter on the Avenue in Winter Park

More Info: Winter On The Avenue is from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Dec. 2. Come out for our annual tree-lighting, strolling carolers, Chanukah menorah lighting ceremony, s’mores, snow slides, the announcement of holiday art contest winners, children’s choirs, The Bubble Bus, Popcorn Flicks in the park, and, of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Light the Christmas Tree at Wekiva Island

More Info: Join us at Wekiva Island as Santa and Mrs. Claus officially kick off the holiday season by lighting our HUGE 30-foot-tall Christmas tree at 7 p.m. The snow flurries will be flying, and we will have live music and plenty of holiday cheer. Don’t forget to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots. The holiday fun is waiting for you!

Lake Mary Holiday in the Park

More Info: The annual Holiday in the Park lights up downtown Lake Mary with a beautiful holiday tree lighting, thousands of twinkling lights, a dancing light show, “Snow Zone” in Central Park & a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus!

Celebrate the Season

More Info: On Friday, December 9, from 6 pm to 9 pm join the festivities at the City of Longwood’s Annual Celebrate the Season Event. This holiday street party will feature an array of activities including the annual tree lighting ceremony, live music, dance performances, an inflatable snow maze, giant fun slides, a North Pole Climbing Wall, a trackless train, food, shopping opportunities at Santa’s workshop, and a major laser light show throughout the event. Snow in the Park

More Info: Snow typically falls on the second Saturday in December and children can enjoy free sledding and ice skating in downtown Mount Dora’s Donnelly Park.   The event is free.  (see video)

Wekiva Island Winter Wonderland

More Info: Winter Wonderland is back, and it’s growing!  We’re supersizing our sparkling Christmas Tree Forest with a 30-foot Christmas tree! Plus, we have nightly “snow” flurries, sparkling holiday décor, visits from Santa and other holiday characters and special events for the whole family from December 2nd through Christmas Day!

Now Snowing in Celebration

November 26 – December 31, 2022
More Info: Now Snowing, Central Florida’s original and premier “Snowing” event, offers one of the area’s only synthetic ice rinks, special community performances by some of the area’s top young talent, and special concert events throughout the season. Now Snowing is a month-long Winter Wonderland Spectacular featuring strolling Charles Dickens style Carolers, photos with Santa, horse drawn carriage rides, train rides, ice skating, and nightly snowfall at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00 and 9:00 PM. It’s a true throwback to the traditional family style holiday.
