Jazz at Dr. Phillips Center Returns – Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts today announced the return of its popular Jazz at Dr. Phillips Center supported by Massey Services, Inc. Taking place across the arts center’s multiple theaters, the outstanding lineup of artists for the 2023/2024 season includes Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Mark Tremonti, Dianne Reeves and Pat Metheny.

What:
The series kicks off with Big Band Holidays Jazz at Lincoln Center with Wynton Marsalis on December 2, 2023. With soulful big band arrangements of songs both sacred and secular, Big Band Holidays is an uplifting Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis tradition enjoyed by audiences of all ages and backgrounds. In addition to some swinging JLCO instrumentals, special guest vocalist Ashley Pezzotti joins the band for imaginative new versions of classic holiday tunes.
On December 16, 2023, guests can experience Mark Tremonti. The GRAMMY® Award-winning multi-platinum musician sounds just as at home paying homage to the catalog of Frank Sinatra as he does fronting Tremonti or shredding his soul out as the guitarist for Alter Bridge and Creed.
Dianne Reeves, the world’s most celebrated jazz vocalist and five-time GRAMMY® Award winner is to perform on March 10, 2024. Her breathtaking virtuosity, improvisational prowess and unique jazz and R&B stylings will be especially captivating as a result of the exquisite acoustics in Steinmetz Hall.
Completing the series is Pat Methany on March 24, 2024. Throughout his decades-long career, Metheny redefined the jazz genre by utilizing new technology and constantly working to evolve the improvisational and sonic potential of his instrument. A multi-GRAMMY® Award winner across various categories, Metheny’s performance will delight audiences.
