Orlando Health Events for Parents – In December 2019, Orlando Health is offering two events for new parents at Arnold Palmer Hospital and Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando.
Car Seat Assistance:
Three out of four car seats are used incorrectly. Is yours? Join in a FREE car seat checkpoint, provided by Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, and learn how to properly install your child restraint. Bring your child’s car seat and the vehicle it will be installed in.

Mother Baby Connection:
Designed for mothers with babies up to 12 months, Mother Baby Connection offers a chance to meet other moms and receive important health information on parenting topics. This class will include a discussion on preventing traumatic injuries in infants and toddlers from the Injury Prevention Specialist at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. Topics to be discussed include: falls, car seat safety, co-sleeping/bed sharing, burns and water safety. A brief lesson in infant CPR and the Heimlich maneuver will be covered (Note: this is not a certification course). Please call (321) 843-2229 for more information and to register.
